St Marys police are investigating a home invasion at Claremont Meadows on November 23. About 5am, a man, 35, arrived home and was allegedly confronted by a Muswellbrook man, 22, and a Glossodia woman, 24. It is further alleged the man was told to be quiet before being hit on the head with a weapon, described as being similar to a machete. Police were told the man allegedly swung the weapon towards the 35-year-old and almost severed his finger. The 35-yearold fell to the ground and was allegedly repeatedly hit by both the man and woman before they left. Police arrived and the man was taken to Nepean Hospital. The man and woman were soon arrested and charged. The man remains in custody and the woman was granted bail. Both will face Penrith Court in January.
MARYS A man allegedly seen urinating on a wall at St Marys train station has been spoken to and fined for offensive behaviour. St Marys police were patrolling the station about 12.20am on November 28, when they noticed the Blacktown man, 25, allegedly urinating in full view of everyone accessing the station.
A 25-yearold Hebersham man was allegedly caught driving while disqualified. About 3.55pm on November 30, police allege they saw the man driving a black Ford Falcon along an exit ramp from an underground carpark on to Albert St, at Werrington. Police said as they approached, the driver allegedly attempted to reverse back down the ramp. Checks
