A St Marys man, 47, will face Penrith Court in the new year charged with cultivate prohibited plant after police allegedly found cannabis plants in his home. About 5.30pm on November 30, St Marys police went to the man’s Monfarville St home after a tip-off from the public. The man allegedly showed police the plants when they arrived and was then charged.
Police are investigating a theft from a building site at Tregear, between 4pm on Friday and Monday. Thieves removed building materials from a building site on Mikkelsen Ave. Anyone with information should call police on 9675 0699.
An Inverell woman, 19, has been issued a court attendance notice by police for allegedly driving while disqualified at Blackett. The woman was stopped by police on Carlisle Ave about 11.30am on Monday, for a random breath test. Checks revealed she was disqualified until 2017.
