A St Marys man, 47, will face Pen­rith Court in the new year charged with cul­ti­vate pro­hib­ited plant af­ter po­lice al­legedly found cannabis plants in his home. About 5.30pm on Novem­ber 30, St Marys po­lice went to the man’s Mon­farville St home af­ter a tip-off from the pub­lic. The man al­legedly showed po­lice the plants when they ar­rived and was then charged.


Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a theft from a build­ing site at Tregear, be­tween 4pm on Fri­day and Mon­day. Thieves re­moved build­ing ma­te­ri­als from a build­ing site on Mikkelsen Ave. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion should call po­lice on 9675 0699.


An In­verell woman, 19, has been is­sued a court at­ten­dance no­tice by po­lice for al­legedly driv­ing while dis­qual­i­fied at Black­ett. The woman was stopped by po­lice on Carlisle Ave about 11.30am on Mon­day, for a ran­dom breath test. Checks re­vealed she was dis­qual­i­fied un­til 2017.
