BAND CELEBRATE LEADER’S LIFE
THE Angels fans should head to Rooty Hill RSL when a tribute to Australian rock legend Doc Neeson’s birthday starts the year off in style.
As part of the celebrations, his former band mates are bringing his biggest hits to Rooty Hill RSL.
The show promises to get everyone singing and rocking out to his classic hits.
Neeson passed away two years ago after a battle with a brain tumour and members of his band – from 2007-2012 – have decided to commemorate their leader on what would have been his 69th birthday by repeating the set Neeson played at his final public performance.
Feeling it was the right time to celebrate his success, the band gathered some of Neeson’s closest friends and family to develop this show, ensuring that it will be one not to miss.
The show will consist of many of The Angels hits including Am I WHAT: Doc Neeson’s Birthday Memorial WHEN: Monday, January 4 TIME: 8pm COST: $20 WHERE: Rooty Hill RSL, 59 Sherbrooke St, Rooty Hill DETAILS: rootyhillrsl.com.au Ever Gonna’ See Your Face Again, Coming Down, I Ain’t The One and Let The Night Roll On.
