KATY Perry fans are in for a real treat this month, with pop star im­per­son­ator Betty Dargie hit­ting the stage at Rooty Hill.

Dargie’s re­sem­blance to Perry is un­canny but, looks aside, the Aus­tralian prom­ises to live up to the real per­former’s live shows, with no ex­pense spared. Dargie, 29, will be decked out in some of Perry’s most fa­mous and out­ra­geous cos­tumes, in­clud­ing the fruit dress, the cup­cake bra and the in­fa­mous fairy floss dress. The artist will be backed up by a cast of tal­ented dancers and ac­ro­bats, en­sur­ing the show lives up to Perry’s stan­dard.

The stage will be filled with Katy’s sig­na­ture candy treats as well as ad­di­tional per­for­mances from gi­ant ginger­bread men and Perry’s fa­mous gi­ant pur­ple cat, “Kitty Purry’’.

Dargie has been in the en­ter­tain­ment in­dus­try for years, work­ing as an artist and a chore­og­ra­pher, and her shows are renowned for their en­gage­ment with her au­di­ences.
