KATY Perry fans are in for a real treat this month, with pop star impersonator Betty Dargie hitting the stage at Rooty Hill.
Dargie’s resemblance to Perry is uncanny but, looks aside, the Australian promises to live up to the real performer’s live shows, with no expense spared. Dargie, 29, will be decked out in some of Perry’s most famous and outrageous costumes, including the fruit dress, the cupcake bra and the infamous fairy floss dress. The artist will be backed up by a cast of talented dancers and acrobats, ensuring the show lives up to Perry’s standard.
The stage will be filled with Katy’s signature candy treats as well as additional performances from giant gingerbread men and Perry’s famous giant purple cat, “Kitty Purry’’.
Dargie has been in the entertainment industry for years, working as an artist and a choreographer, and her shows are renowned for their engagement with her audiences.
