THE world-renowned John Len­non trib­ute show, Len­non: Look­ing Through A Glass Onion. per­formed by John Wa­ters, is com­ing to Rooty Hill RSL on Fri­day, Fe­bru­ary 5.

Since de­but­ing his show in New York, Wa­ters has toured around the world and re­ceived wide­spread praise for his vivid por­trayal of Len­non’s ca­reer.

The New York Times in par­tic­u­lar paid trib­ute to Wa­ters’ tal­ent, “A deeply felt re­flec­tion. Savour ev­ery minute,” it rec­om­mended.

Wa­ters has been in the mu­sic in­dus­try for more than 40 years, and has been tour­ing Len­non: Look­ing Through A Glass Onion

in var­i­ous forms since 1992.

How­ever Wa­ters is of­ten more recog­nised through­out the coun­try for his 20-year stint on chil­dren’s tele­vi­sion se­ries Play


Wa­ters will be ac­com­pa­nied on stage by Ste­wart D’Ar­ri­etta as he per­forms his part-con­cert/ part-spo­ken word show.

The show will fea­ture a se­lec­tion of Len­non’s great­est hits in­clud­ing, Woman, Jeal­ous

Guy and Imag­ine. It will also pay homage to Len­non’s col­lab­o­ra­tions with Paul McCart­ney in­clud­ing Rev­o­lu­tion, Lucy in the Sky

with Di­a­monds and A Day in the life.
