WITH just over a week of the school holidays left, children can enjoy their last few days of holidays at Westfield Mt Druitt.

The centre has a huge variety of free programs and events for children all week, starting with their Kids in the Kitchen lunch box workshop, which runs until Saturday.

Westfield will also be hosting The Budding Business Brains interactive workshops from 9.30am this Thursday and Friday.

The workshop runs for three hours and teaches children how to become entrepreneurs.

Youngsters will learn to develop confidence and creativity by creating a business and developing a product prototype they can later sell.

A Westfield spokeswoman said there was something for everyone.

“We will be hosting free activities ... designed to be fun for kids and relieve the stress and expense for parents, especially during holidays as parents sometimes feel pressured to entertain children with something different every day,” the spokeswoman said.

Funpark also is running in Bidwill Square from 3-5pm today and Friday for ages six to 16. Children can enjoy hula-hooping, filmmaking and street dance.

For those who want to beat the heat this Saturday, the last Dive-in movie, Minions, will be screening at Mt Druitt Pool.

Gates open at 7pm with the movie starting at 8pm.

Bbring a picnic rug or your favourite inflatable and sit back and relax.

Sisters Megan, 11, and Tara Aquilina, 12 make a splash at Mt Druitt Pool but youngsters can also watch their favourite movies at the popular venue.
