Scooter crash causes injury
A 37-YEAR-OLD man has been left with spinal injuries after he fell on to the tracks at Mt Druitt train station on Monday.
About 10.45am, police were called to assist after the man lost control of a mobility scooter and fell off the platform.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswomen said the man was in a stable condition.
“This patient has suffered possible spinal injury and possible fractured ankle and was transported to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.” she said.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews from St Marys and Dunheved aided the rescue.
