CASE STUDY

Mt Druitt - St Mary's Standard (East) - - UP SKILL -

Samantha Brown, 22, of Epping is an interior designer. Why did you study the course and what did you like about it? Interior design was something I was interested in and passionate about. I was thinking of what I wanted to do and was drawn to interiors. I liked the course because it was online and I could do it in my own time (not everyone feels like studying all the time, so it allows you to be flexible with your hours). It’s easy to follow, with great content relating to everything you need to pursue a career in the industry.

What are your plans for the future? Since finishing the course, I have started a job with a commercial interior design company. My future plans would be to work on my own projects. I would love to work on some residential spaces but am open to anything. What advice do you have for others who wish to get into the industry? Go for it. If it’s something you want to do, why not? Interior design allows for so much opportunity, and it's a fun industry to be part of.
