Harold sticks neck out for Life Education
EVERYONE’S favourite giraffe Healthy Harold will host the inaugural Life Education family fun day at Colyton on Sunday.
The event will see the Life Education headquarters open to the public for the first time.
Children and adults alike can celebrate with free food, drinks, rides and showbags.
Kids will even be able to enjoy an interactive session in the Healthy Harold vans.
There will be plenty of entertainment on the day, with face painting and jumping castles, and even random spot prizes will be on offer.
The Life Education NSW state headquarters first opened in Colyton in 1987.
Life Education chief executive Kellie Sloane said the organisation was excited to finally open its doors to the public.
“Healthy Harold is such a positive and iconic charac- ter in the lives of so many children. We want to share the good work that we do with the wider community,” Mrs Sloane said.
In NSW, more than 280,000 students in more than 1200 schools take part in Life Education’s preschool, primary and secondary programs each year.
The programs aim to empower children and young people to make safer and healthier choices.
