Website fills gap
NEWSLOCAL’S new real estate website SydneyProp ertyExperts.com is on a mission to fill a market gap by publishing in both English and simplified Chinese.
The company’s first bilingual product launched last week and features real estate content targeted at the Chinese community, with hot topics including market trends, new developments, suburb hot spots and foreign investment issues.
NewsLocal editor-in-chief Kathy Lipari said the idea came from an unmet consumer need among locals with Chinese heritage.
“NewsLocal is the leader in local real estate coverage in Sydney and we identified a gap in the market for ex- pert real estate content and analysis tailored specifically to our Chinese-Australian audiences,” she said.

Headed by NewsCorp NSW real estate editor Tim McIntyre, the SydneyPropertyExperts.com team will be made up of NewsLocal’s 13 real estate reporters.
