Property goes to wrack and ruin

Mt Druitt - St Mary's Standard (East) - - FEEDBACK -

YOU had an article regarding the wait for public housing tenants are expecting a few months back. I just wanted to share the following photos and story with you.

The property next to mine has been vacant for five-plus months now.

Housing has done nothing about it. I have made numerous amounts of phone calls to Mt Druitt Housing Department since the property was vacated.

The front window is smashed and the yard is atrocious. If it wasn’t for the effort of the neighbours on the other side and the house mowing the front yard it too would look the same.

The pictures are of the yard on my side and the front view of the property. It has a foul odour emitting from it also.

With the snakes in Whalan Reserve, which is directly behind my

house, I hold grave fears for the safety of both my almost threeyear-old as well as my pets.
