Fewer overseas trips would save The Shed
THE possible closure of The Shed men’s service in Emerton, the Federal Government redirecting funds to suicide prevention, is cruel, wrong and unnecessary (“Doors may close on shed”, The Standard, February 17).
Easy answer – provide funding to BOTH needs.
All our Federal Government needs to do is cut down on so-called official overseas business trips (holidays?) and prevent the rorting of money by our beloved highrolling MP public servants. Easy as that. DAVE VINCENT, Bidwill
