Welcome to your new-look paper
You’ll notice the Mt Druitt St Marys Standard has undergone a transformation this week - your paper is bigger, brighter and jam-packed with local news, pictures and new features.
As well as a fresh colour scheme, contemporary logo and vibrant page designs, we are proud to offer great new sections including Food and Drink, Home, Education, Pets and Travel, featuring expert columnists with a local focus and all the community information you need.
And of course, we continue to bring readers NewsLocal’s award-winning coverage of council, crime and community events.
Our refresh is based on research revealing local papers are still the main source of local news and information for their communities.
NewsLocal editor-in-chief Kathy Lipari says: “Local is at the heart of what we do and this is reflected in our new logo, layout and content.”
