Perfectionist continues to evolve career
INTERNATIONAL pop superstar Iyaz has spent the past few years touring the globe and this week will head to Rooty Hill RSL for the first time.
With more than twomillion Facebook likes, countless top 40 hits and a six-times platinum single, Iyaz’s show is one you do not want to miss.
Iyaz has come along way since he was discovered on MySpace by popular artist Sean Kingston.
The Virgin Islands singer said he didn’t expect the success that has come his way.
“I did not even plan to become big. I was just making music for people at home for fun,” Iyaz said.
Iyaz will bring his signature pop/reggae sound to the popular western Sydney venue, ensuring you will be singing and dancing along all night.
Fans are in for a treat with the singer to play all his hit singles including Replay,
Solo, So Big and Pretty Girls.
The talented performer said he had spent the past year redeveloping his sound and was eager for Australian audiences to hear it.
“Sometimes you get locked into a certain sound and image, and everyone around you is telling you how you should sound, what you should write about, how you should look and I really never got to let my fans know who the real Iyaz is,” he said.
“That’s why I took control of my career and hooked up with some long-time friends and business associates to help me out.
“I’m a total perfectionist. Each note needs to sound just right.”
Iyaz will perform at Rooty Hill RSL as part of his Australian tour.
