Be astounded by the number of restaurants, cafes, patisseries and grocery stores that make up Bankstown. Take your pick from burgers, noodles, sweets and more when the festival takes over the streets of Bankstown’s CBD. In the Bankstown Arts Centre there will be entertainment, art, crafts and displays for all ages. Celebrity chef Ben O’Donoghue will take audiences through several cooking demonstrations throughout the day, with other hands-on activities available, including growing your own herb garden with the Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living and outdoor cooking demonstrations from the BBQ Cooking School. The aroma of spices and smallgoods, and the temptation of Sydney’s finest Lebanese sweets are far too much to resist.
