Big, big love for return
Popular songwriter returns to the stage to sing all his hits as well as personal tracks from 10th album
ONE of Australia’s most talented country music stars will grace the stage at Rooty Hill RSL next month.
Troy Cassar-Daley has become one of the country’s most-loved artists and this time he returns with a show like never before.
Following on from his acclaimed autobiography, Things I Carry Around, Cassar-Daley has produced a 10th album by the same name that encapsulates his journey as a song writer.
Things That I Carry Around focuses on stories of Cassar-Daley’s family: love and loss have been woven into song and take his audiences on a journey throughout his life.
Cassar-Daley said fans can expect an up close and personal show with an intimate environment.
“For people that have been to my shows before it will be so different — it will be very stripped back,” Cassar-Daley told The Standard. “It is just me and my guitar on a lounge; there will also be a question and answer section.
“This album was all heart and no head.
“It is special to me and my only full record of real emotion.
“Stylistically it is like the music I listened to as a child – there are cruising songs but also get up and go type songs.”
In a special treat for fans, all tickets include a two-course meal and a drink. The cost also includes an autographed copy of either Cassar-Daley’s CD or autobiography.
Troy Cassar-Daley has touched the hearts of many with his outstanding storytelling skills through music.
