More than 20,000 pas­sion­ate dog lovers are set to de­scend on the Royal Hall of In­dus­tries and the Hordern Pav­il­ion in Moore Park for the third an­nual Dog Lovers Show. Dr Chris Brown, Dr Katrina War­ren, An­thony Ben­nett and James Car­roll from TV show Village Vets and celebrity dog trainer Peta Clarke will head­line the two day event, with dog show judg­ing, tricks and dog re­lated mar­ket stalls all avail­able. Crowds will be given a show of true ath­leti­cism with the world record at­tempt at ex­treme dog high jump, fea­tur­ing pooches from the Aus­tralian work­ing dog res­cue team, as they will be hop­ing to break the cur­rent record held by Aus­tralian dog Bai­ley, who cleared over 2.9m at the Caster­ton Kelpie Muster in Vic­to­ria last June. This year’s celebrity vet stage will be ev­ery dog lover’s dream with Dr Chris Brown ap­pear­ing for the first time. Dr Brown will pro­vide tips on those dog­gie dan­gers you need to know and in­sights into some of his most chal­leng­ing vet cases.
