TAKE a step back in time at Sydney Living Museum’s Fifties Fair. Now in its 21st year, the fair features 1950s fashion, music, dancing and shopping at Rose Seidler House in Wahroonga. Those dressed in full fifties glory will be in the running to win prizes in the fair’s best-dressed competition, judged by Lorraine Foster, owner of The Vintage Clothing Shop, and writer and fifties enthusiast Tara Moss. For classic car lovers, there will be a display of some of Sydney’s finest post-World War II vehicles, including a bus shuttle from Sydney Bus Museum. The bus will be used to transport visitors to the fair in style, driving between Turramurra Railway Station and Rose Seidler House. Shoppers can browse a range of vintage wares from the curated selection of collectors and dealers, including fashion and accessories, kitchenalia, knick-knacks and mid-20th century furniture.
