5000 Jobs in 50 days
With youth unemployment remaining high, News Corp Australia is launching a campaign to help young people find their first job. The campaign name tells the story: 5000 jobs in 50 days.
Harnessing the power of our newspapers and websites across the country, the campaign is expected to reach 14 million people in all states.
Employers are urged to register jobs and give firsttime job seekers a go.
Young people, meanwhile, are urged to make themselves more employable - returning to finish school, pursuing the best tertiary or vocational study option for them and honing what employers call “soft” skills, such as communication.
