Mt Druitt - St Mary's Standard (East) - - YOUR SAY -

I VOLUNTEER as a kitchen hand with Providential Homes, and I can say everything is legitimate (“Shelter for troubled times”, Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard, August 17).

Providential Homes has several properties all of which have a caretaker.

All properties have meal boxes which include, bread, milk, fruit/vegetables and freshly cooked meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

All houses and rooms are cleaned daily and provided clean sheets and blankets. Rae Kelly, via Facebook

DEPENDING on the clients going in here, if it’s special needs then good; if it’s drug or general antisocial folk it would be a ghetto which we don’t need. Todd Blacklaws, via Facebook

GOOD news, and they also need to be inspired and empowered to move forward; not just a place to stay, great work people. Col Davis, via Facebook

THAT’S why they chose Plumpton. They figured no one would notice. If they built it in another suburb there would be a big uproar from the locals. Kim Burke Testa, via Facebook
