THE TAFE Diploma of Remedial Massage is great for those who want to become a professional massage therapist or practitioner.

Students graduate with massage skills to cater for everyone including pregnant women, the elderly and even children. Sports massage techniques are also part of this course.

Students will acquire knowledge in the chemical, biological and biophysical aspects of massage and in the philosophy, principles and practice of complementary health care to enable them to work safely and ethically with clients.

Apart from anatomy and physiology, students learn about nutrition and business marketing/management.

The course is hands-on and taught at TAFE’s own professionally-set massage clinic.

Anyone with a Year 12 Certificate can start at entry level or a Certificate 4 in Massage Therapy for advanced entry. For more details: sydneytafe.edu.au
