A man and woman will face court after al­legedly shoplift­ing from two shop­ping cen­tres in St Marys. About 8.30am on Sun­day, a 24-year-old Nowra man and a 24-year-old He­ber­sham woman at­tended a shop­ping cen­tre in St Marys. It is al­leged the pair stole items, placed them in a back­pack and left the store. They then vis­ited an­other St Marys shop­ping cen­tre and al­legedly stole items from a su­per­mar­ket. The woman al­legedly con­cealed some items in her bra and left the store. Both par­ties then en­tered a depart­ment store where they al­legedly stole more items, placed them in their bags and left the store. A short time later the pair was ap­pre­hended out­side the su­per­mar­ket. They were ar­rested and charged. The fe­male was charged with lar­ceny, as­sault­ing a po­lice of­fi­cer and re­sist­ing ar­rest. The man was charged with lar­ceny. Both the male and fe­male will ap­pear in Pen­rith Lo­cal Court on Oc­to­ber 10.
