IF YOU are cre­ative, but also have a prac­ti­cal bent, a TAFE course in in­dus­trial de­sign could give you the skills to build an ex­cit­ing ca­reer.

Sydney TAFE of­fers a Cer­tifi­cate IV and Ad­vanced Di­ploma of In­dus­trial De­sign.

Stu­dents un­der­take a se­ries of projects dur­ing the cour­ses which are de­signed to give them the skills to turn a de­sign idea into re­al­ity.

The cour­ses are avail­able to a wide range of peo­ple from school leavers to those re­train­ing and up­skilling in the in­dus­try.

Sub­jects cov­ered in­clude 3D mod­el­ling and print­ing, de­sign process and doc­u­men­ta­tion, hand draw­ing and ren­der­ing and pre­sen­ta­tion.

Stu­dents un­der­take re­search, man­age projects and de­velop con­cepts and 3D pro­to­types.
