LANDSCAPE designers are creative people who love the outdoors, often working to turn a bland space into something breathtaking.

People working in this job also need to be knowledgeable about plants and landscaping procedures.

TAFE NSW’s Diploma of Landscape Design teaches students ways to transform ideas into achievable landscape and garden designs.

Students are taught the principles of horticulture, design and how to deliver a successful project.

Students learn about assessing, designing and preparing projects including producing computeraided drawings and business processes such as quoting, tendering and preparing contracts.

Landscape designers may work with other landscape service professionals/ companies, property developers or be self-employed.

This is an industry where passion and dedication pay off. For more details: tafensw.edu.au
