Expect noise but not benefits

THE only flow-on effect will be noise, pollution and the traffic of trucks carrying fuel to the airport (“Badgerys to become ‘aerotropolis’”, The Standard Facebook page, October 18).

The “benefits” are a fantasy that will never eventuate.

The airport will only see passenger flights at night while the ‘premium’ airport is closed for curfew.

The day time freight flights and antiquated aircraft of super-budget carriers won’t support development of this size and scale. All premium passenger flights will still operate out of Kingsford Smith.
