Mt Druitt - St Mary's Standard (East) - - WHAT'S ON -

Now in its 11th year, the annual Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk is back bigger and better. It is a great day out for the whole family and for a very worthy cause. In the past 10 years, the event has seen about 90,000 walkers participate and has raised more than $2.7 million for charity. The event is also a great way to see the beautiful landmarks around Sydney. The course is a 28km closed loop circuit that travels clockwise around Sydney Harbour, highlighting many of the magnificent views around the harbour. There will be seven villages (Milsons Point, Barangaroo, Pyrmont, Rozelle, Hunters Hill, Lane Cove and Wollstonecraft) around the course that walkers must pass through to complete the circle. Each of the villages will provide information, registration, first aid, toilets, food, refreshments and entertainment. Participants can register and start at any village, where they can pick up an event passport which includes a course map and official wristband. To participate in the walk, you can register online ahead of the event or pay on the day.

The course and facilities will be open from 7.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday, October 30, adult tickets: $45,
