HYDROPONIC CROP FOUND IN ST CLAIR

PO­LICE have ap­pealed to the com­mu­nity for as­sis­tance and in­for­ma­tion af­ter a so­phis­ti­cated cannabis hy­dro­pon­ics set-up was dis­cov­ered last month in St Clair.

About 8.30am on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 18, po­lice ex­e­cuted a search war­rant at an ad­dress in St Clair.

Once they gained ac­cess, po­lice found a so­phis­ti­cated hy­dro­pon­ics set-up.

There was a to­tal of 118 cannabis plants grow­ing in nu­mer­ous rooms of the prop­erty.

The ma­jor­ity of these plants were about 1m in height and were well es­tab­lished.

Po­lice also found a num­ber of large bags at the prop­erty con­tain­ing cannabis leaf and a con­tainer of cannabis.

As po­lice con­tinue their in­quiries and investigations, they are en­cour­ag­ing any­one with in­for­ma­tion about the cul­ti­va­tion of the drugs to call Crime Stop­pers on 1800 333 000.
