A teenager will face the Parramatta Children’s Court next month in relation to a police pursuit in Mt Druitt on Friday. About 10.30am, Mt Druitt Proactive Crime Team officers attempted to stop a Holden Commodore for a random breath test. The driver failed to stop and accelerated. Police pursued the vehicle through Whalan, Dharruk and Hebersham, before the driver ran from the vehicle in Jersey Rd, Plumpton, and into the backyard of a nearby townhouse. The vehicle continued to roll along Luxford Rd, until it collided with a fence. With the assistance of PolAir and the Dog Squad, a male, 17, was found hiding nearby. He was taken to Mt Druitt police station and charged with Skye’s Law, driving without a licence and drug possession. He was released on conditional bail.
