share sydney with the world this wednesday
WHATEVER your passion, profession, politics or place of residence in Sydney, it’s time to pull out your camera and get snapping.
#SnapSydney is here again and over 24 hours today (Wednesday), everyone is invited to document a day in the life of Sydney.
If there’s one thing that unites Sydneysiders it is the pride of living in the best city in the world. A cavalcade of politicians, sports stars, actors, TV and radio personalities and Sydney characters have pledged to take part including Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Premier Mike Baird.
Mr Turnbull revealed his secret Sydney spot – the Sow and Pigs Reef in the harbour off Camp Cove: “Big, beautiful boulders and there’s always lots of fish,” he said.
FoxSports TV presenter Tara Rushton, who splits her time between Sydney and Melbourne, has no doubts about where her heart lies.
“There’s nowhere like it in the world,” she said.
An initiative of NewsLocal newspapers, the photo- graphic celebration has now been adopted Australiawide with Canon and Harvey Norman coming on board as national partners.
Photos should be posted to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #SnapSydney.
In 2015, #SnapSydney generated 11,500 images. This year we want more with the best to be published in NewsLocal newspapers. So snap a picture on Wednesday and share the magic.
