ROOTY Hill RSL and The Bearded Bakers have com­bined their con­sid­er­able clout to present the in­au­gu­ral Off the Eaten Truck food fes­ti­val. Sup­port­ing Movem­ber (men’s health aware­ness), the fes­ti­val will fea­ture two days of fun for fam­i­lies. There will be non-stop free coun­try mu­sic across two stages as well as 30 of Syd­ney’s most pop­u­lar food trucks set­ting up camp in the RSL club’s south­ern carpark. Coun­try kind James Blundell will high­light Satur­day’s en­ter­tain­ment line-up (in the Fred Chubb Lounge in­door stage), which also fea­tures Gavin Bowles, Blake Tai­lor Duo, Ethan Con­way and Troy Kemp. The en­ter­tain­ment on the out­door stage is no less im­pres­sive — in­clud­ing Christie Lamb (pic­tured), Katie Jayne, Ben Ran­som and Mel Dyer. Sun­day’s pro­gram in­cludes Katie Bri­anna, Jay Seeney, Kaylens Rain, Mickey Pye and Rory El­lis. All that mu­sic is sure to whet your ap­petite, and the food line-up will have you drool­ing. It in­cludes The Bearded Bakers’ to-die-for knafeh, Let’s Do Yum Cha, Ur­ban Pasta, Bao Stop, Smokin’ Grill Bar­be­cue and The Fancy Banger. To keep the young­sters happy, there’ll be a petty zoo, face paint­ing, lad­der chal­lenge, jump­ing cas­tle and large slide.
