PLUMP­TON Mar­ket­place will make Christ­mas more ac­ces­si­ble for chil­dren with autism and spe­cial needs with its first Sen­si­tive Santa.

A spe­cial pho­tog­ra­phy ses­sion will be avail­able out­side nor­mal shop­ping cen­tre trad­ing hours and book­ings will be 15 min­utes apart.

Plump­ton Mar­ket­place mar­ket­ing man­ager Lisa Mourga said the de­ci­sion was as a re­sult of par­ents’ re­quests.

“We’re so pleased to in­tro­duce this ini­tia­tive for the first time at Plump­ton Mar­ket­place,” Ms Mourga said.

“Many of our cus­tomers have been re­quest­ing this ser­vice and we are proud to sup­port their re­quest this year.

“Ev­ery child should be able to en­joy the Santa ex­pe­ri­ence. “
