ERSKINE Park Eagles Netball Club has welcomed improvements to its home court, Chameleon Reserve.

After petitions from outgoing club president Lynn Deuis, Penrith Council received a State Government grant of $25,000 to improve the reserve by installing a new amenity and storage building next to the netball court, which is currently being resurfaced.

The amenity building comprises two toilet units, an accessible toilet, and a unisex ambulant facility.

Mrs Deuis said the improvements were “very welcomed” by the club, which has grown from 13 teams to 33 teams in six years.

“The help received from the councillors was fantastic, but I would like to acknowledge the employees of Penrith Council in the recreation department who were absolutely vital in the process of having these facilities turned from plans on paper to the facilities we have here today,” Mrs Deuis said.
