6 A Colyton man has been charged with high-range drink driving after he was breath-tested in North St Marys on Saturday. About 3.55pm police were patrolling Maple Rd, North St Marys. They stopped a motor vehicle and spoke with the driver, a 67 year old man from Colyton. He was subjected to a roadside breath test and returned a positive sample. The driver was taken to Penrith police station where a breath analysis returned an alleged high reading. The driver was charged with high-level drink driving and his driver’s licence was suspended immediately. He will appear at Penrith Local Court January 16.
