Open­ing weekend was a tfit­ting time to pay trib­ute to Falls Creek’s SES vol­un­teers.

CLOUD Nine was the venue for the 2013 kick-off of the snow sea­son at Falls Creek on June 8.

At least 150 lo­cal iden­ti­ties and guests gath­ered to hear the Par­lia­men­tary Sec­re­tary for the En­vi­ron­ment Brad Bat­tin (MLA, Gem­brook) de­clare the 2013 sea­son of­fi­cially open.

Cer­tifi­cates of ser­vice were pre­sented to ded­i­cated Falls Creek SES mem­bers for their con­tri­bu­tion of more than 30 years’ ser­vice, in­clud­ing Rob Spargo, who has been one of the out­stand­ing vol­un­teers.
