REACH­ING your po­ten­tial was the ethos be­hind Per­form at your Peak.

The in­for­ma­tion evening fea­tur­ing en­durance ath­letes Richard Thomp­son and Dr Car­men Atkin­son at Hen­drey Chi­ro­prac­tic at­tracted more than 30 peo­ple on Au­gust 4.

Both had re­cently com­peted in Ul­tra­man Aus­tralia. While Richard won the event in a world record time, Car­men crashed 90km into the bike leg on day one.

They shared their sto­ries, how they got to the start line, the ex­pe­ri­ences, as well the goals and pro­cesses they un­der­took through­out more than six months of in­ten­sive train­ing.

Hen­drey Chi­ro­prac­tic is host­ing an­other event next month, help­ing those who want to move bet­ter, feel bet­ter and look bet­ter.

The free ses­sion on Septem­ber 7 will help those at­tend­ing un­lock the se­crets of op­ti­mal move­ment and per­for­mance us­ing the lat­est in sports science.

It will com­bine two ex­pe­ri­enced pro­fes­sion­als, chi­ro­prac­tor Dr David Hen­drey and per­sonal trainer Jack­son John­son.

They will per­form 10 tests to create a bench­mark to mea­sure im­prove­ment. These tests will in­clude; bi­o­log­i­cal age, body com­po­si­tion, spine and nerve tests, x-rays (if re­quired), func­tional move­ment screen, bi-weight lat­eral dis­tri­bu­tion, core strength grad­ing, flex­i­bil­ity, func­tional strength and dig­i­tal pos­ture anal­y­sis.
