Myrtle­ford failed to kick a goal in the first three quar­ters against Tigers as the mi­nor pre­miers found them­selves 40 points down with a quar­ter to play.

It was a straight sets exit for the un­der 16s who lost 9.11 (65) to 15.8 (98) against Kan­ga­roos on Sun­day af­ter be­ing thumped by Mans­field a week ear­lier.

Af­ter trail­ing by nine points at half­time the Saints closed the gap to two points at the main break with Tex McIn­tosh, Sam Pi­azza and Jed Bynon fir­ing.

But Kan­ga­roos added six third-quar­ter goals to lead by 20 points ahead of the last and added an­other five ma­jors in the fourth to end Myrtle­ford’s sea­son.

For the Sainst Ry­ley Bouker fin­ished with four goals, Do­minic Be­dendo three and De­clan Bren two.
