RBT reading reaches alpine heights
BRIGHT police earlier this month intercepted a drink driver with one of the highest alcohol readings ever seen by officers in the Upper Ovens Valley.
The 34-year-old Melbourne man returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.364 when he was found behind the wheel of his car on Great Alpine Road on September 17 at about 4.20pm.
The man had driven about 500 metres along the road, following an argument with his partner, before police pulled him over.
He was found to have a disqualified licence and will front court on summons.
