Mount Beauty li­brary last week echoed to the sound of drums, songs and pi­rate yo-ho-ing as Peter Klein, aka Cap­tain Pete (fore­ground), en­ter­tained a crowd of young chil­dren dur­ing school hol­i­days. He kept the kids amused for more than an hour with sto­ries, songs, danc­ing, dress­ing up and try­ing out dif­fer­ent mu­si­cal in­stru­ments. Alpine Shire li­brary ser­vices of­fi­cer SarahJane Har­ring­ton said that Cap­tain Pete’s con­certs were a huge suc­cess and there had been a lot of pos­i­tive feed­back from par­ents.
