Men’s Sheds from around the North East gath­ered in Myrtle­ford on Thurs­day for a re­gional meet­ing of mem­bers and guest speak­ers. About 60 peo­ple from seven sheds were present to hear from rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the Vic­to­rian Men’s Shed As­so­ci­a­tion, Ac­tive Health and Age­ing, Depart­ment of Health and Hu­man Ser­vices and David Ja­cob­son from the Com­mu­nity Ac­tion for the Mount Buf­falo Chalet. Myrtle­ford sec­re­tary Clive Walker said the gath­er­ings were held three times a year. “We get to­gether to talk about what var­i­ous sheds are do­ing and were lucky enough to have four fan­tas­tic guest speak­ers today,” he said.
