The bi-annual event is one of the best fundraisers for Red Cross and also allows older women within the community, who might find it difficult to get out of town to shop, the chance to upgrade their wardrobe.
Blumes is Australia’s leading mobile women’s clothing retailer and has partnered with Red Cross in Bright to stage the fashion show since it started.
“We have been doing it for more than 20 years,” Bright Red Cross president Nola West said.
“It’s our way of helping the ladies buy some new clothes and to raise money for Red Cross.
“Many of the women who come along are regular attendees and enjoy the social aspect of the show as much as the fashions.
