Saturday’s Myrtleford Market will promote nuts, seeds and oils
MYRTLEFORD Farmers’ Market on Saturday will focus on nuts, seeds and oils available from participating producers.
Market co-ordinator Franca Norris said combinations of these products were available from many stallholders in the market, which is accredited by the Victorian Farmers’ Markets Association.
“There are oils from Styrian pumpkins seeds, hazelnuts, walnuts and olives, and walnuts, chestnuts, pumpkin seeds and chestnut meal,” she said. “The list goes on.” Saturday’s (October 28) market will include a demonstration by Patrizia Simone of ways to use these foods in combination or with other dishes.
The market is held in Myrtleford piazza.
