How long have you lived in Myrtleford?

I have lived in Myrtleford all my life and went to school at Marian College.

What is your favourite thing about Myrtleford?

The variety of outdoor activities you can do in the area such as mountain bike riding, snowboarding, fishing and hiking.

Making use of cafes, breweries and wineries throughout the Alpine Valleys is always a good time too.

I also like to spend time at the family farm.

What does your family farm?

Beef cattle and sheep. We’ve also got bees, although being an apiarist is just for a bit of fun.

What do enjoy most about the farm?

The outdoors and watching the seasons change.

What is your job?

I am a welder for the dairy, food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

What do you like about this role?

The change of site locations most days, meeting new and interesting people, and learning new skills.

What is your favourite saying?

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.”
