Long term lease for holiday park
ALPINE Shire Council was last night expected to approve a long term lease for the management and operation of the Myrtleford Holiday Park.
Myrtleford Creekside Caravan Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sustainable Park Solutions were awarded the lease subject to the purchase of assets and lease premium for $290,000 excluding GST.
The 21-year lease will begin from September 10 and will require them to commence rent at $50,000 per annum excluding GST and complete capital works over the life of the lease to the value of $1,272,629.
The Myrtleford Holiday Park Business Plan developed in 2014 called for a program of works to be undertaken over the following three years and a subsequent market test for the long term lease of its management and operation.
