Popular singer-songwriter Brian Letton will hit Katanning in July as part of a national tour to mark his 23rd album.

The country music stalwart’s new album, Western Australia Is Calling Me Home, is the third on his own label, with all but three tracks selfpenned.

The album touches on many personal stories, including his father Harry’s influence on his life and growing up in the Great Southern.

“I’m constantly inspired by my early days, being raised on the family farm near Ravensthorpe,” he said. “That was a special time and place.”

Letton will play Katanning Country Club on Wednesday, July 12, at 7.30pm.
