Narrogin Observer - - Observer Sport - Rodney Johnson

Two goal-heavy games in the Upper Great Southern Hockey Association were played in last weekend’s Sportspower men’s A-grade.

The first game was between All Blacks A and Warriors.

Warriors had a perfect start with an early goal but All Blacks were able to reply shortly after.

The reply sent Warriors into overdrive and they scored four more goals in the first half through some great team play.

The second half went the way of Warriors, who scored a further five goals to win the game 10-1.

The second game was between All Blacks and Olympics and second position on the ladder was up for grabs. All Blacks got the jump on Olympics and scored four unanswered goals in the first half.

The second half saw Olympics get a goal on the scoreboard but All Blacks were in control and scored another four goals for an 8-1 win.
