Sisters make a racquet for WA
Narrogin sisters Michaela and Caitlin Pratt have been selected in the 2017 WA junior State squash team that will travel to Geelong to compete in September.
At the recent WA State Aged-Based Junior Squash Championships, Caitlin finished first and won the WA State Junior Under-13 title, and Michaela took third in the Under-15s.
Earlier in the year, the sisters travelled to the Northern Territory to compete at the NT Junior Open, where Michaela won the under-15 and under-17 divisions and Caitlin came second in the under-13 division and third in the under-15 division.
The sisters are now training and looking to the Australian National Individual and Teams Championships in Geelong, as well as taking part in the inaugural Narrogin junior squash tournament later this month.
Both appreciate the strong community support they have received through coaching, practice sessions, match play, sponsorship from local businesses and funding through local government initiatives.
Narrogin sisters Michaela and Caitlin Pratt will represent WA in the junior State squash team next month.
