Recognition for local pharmacy
Narrogin Amcal has come out major winners at the Sigma Western Region Pharmacy Assistant Annual Conference in Perth.
The pharmacy took out the award for Community Engagement Pharmacy of the Year, beating all other Amcals in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Amcal Narrogin managing partner Geoff Page said the award was because of the hard work of his pharmacy assistants.
“The pharmacy assistants are the forefront of the company,” he said.
“This award is because of them, they all have great community engagement and it’s a team effort.”
Mr Page also wanted to thank the people of Narrogin for supporting their pharmacy.
“Without them we wouldn’t have a community in which we would become engaged, so we have to thank them.”
The pharmacy will now be nominated for the National Community Engagement Pharmacy of the Year and that award ceremony takes place in Queensland early next year.
