BAKERY IN LIMBO AFTER BLAZE
A fire at Fortune Fresh Bakery has caused extensive damage to the popular Egerton Street store, with it to remain closed indefinitely.
Fortune Fresh Hot Bread has been forced to shut indefinitely after a fire broke out in the kitchen on Sunday morning.
Narrogin fire brigade were first on the scene at about 5.30am, followed by the Williams fire brigade, with the flames taking around half an hour to extinguish.
The Egerton Street bakery suf- fered damage to the deep fryers, ventilation and extensive heat and smoke damage to the inside of the building.
Fire crews left the scene at around 8:30am and the bakery will be shut for weeks as a result of the incident.
Narrogin police said the cause of the fire was still undetermined, and at this stage the incident is being treated as an accident.
The popular Narrogin bakery is closed until further notice as fire caused extensive damage to the inside of the building.
