Behind the scenes at agricultural college
The staff and students at WA College of Agriculture — Narrogin are busy preparing for their annual Open Day to be held on Friday, September 15.
This will be the first open day that Year 10 student Rene Naude, of Narrogin, will participate in.
Rene is originally from Orania in Northern Cape, South Africa, and moved to WA with her family eight years ago.
She was home-schooled before she started at the Narrogin Agricultural College and is finding studying at the college a good learning experience.
Rene is enjoying the college and she says she likes the flexibility of the college and the people, which is different to school.
This year’s open day will have tours, a gym-khana, demonstrations, produce for sale and displays of the students’ work.
