Po­lice seek eye­wit­ness ac­counts of Nar­ro­gin pub as­sault

A 35-year-old Cuballing man suf­fered a bro­ken jaw af­ter al­legedly be­ing as­saulted in a Nar­ro­gin ho­tel toi­let on Fri­day, Au­gust 18.

Nar­ro­gin de­tec­tives are in­vesti- gat­ing the as­sault which oc­curred in the toi­lets of the Doney Street ho­tel about 10.30pm.

Po­lice al­lege the vic­tim was in the toi­lets when an­other man ap­proached him and al­legedly struck him in the face, re­sult­ing in a bro­ken jaw, which re­quired surgery.

The man then left the toi­lets and was in­volved in sev­eral other un­pro­voked al­ter­ca­tions be­fore leav­ing the ho­tel, po­lice say.

The man is de­scribed as light skinned, with scruffy light brown hair, 35-45 years old, 160-170cm tall, medium build and wear­ing an or­ange flu­oro jumper and blue work pants.
